Housing facilities (Accommodation)

FSU offers comfortable and safe on-campus housing through multiple residence halls on the main campus and one apartment complex adjacent to the campus, accommodating approximately 1,500 students. The on-campus housing process has four steps for new students, including completing the online housing application and paying the $150 application fee. Housing and Residence Life facilities team ensures all residential environments are safe, secure, and well-maintained, with housekeeping services for hallways, corridors, lounges, stairwells, and shared public restrooms, and a maintenance team performing general and preventative maintenance tasks

Fayetteville State University is committed to the safety and welfare of its students and employees while maintaining a campus environment conducive to student learning and academic achievement. The university prepares an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, which includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual misconduct, timely warnings, and other campus safety matters. Environmental Health and Safety measures address chemical safety, biological safety, radiation safety, and more, ensuring FSU remains in compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations. The Bronco Shuttle provides ADA-compliant transportation with wheelchair lifts and securements for the campus community.

Career Services at FSU offers scheduled appointments, walk-in hours, seminars, workshops, job fairs, and classroom presentations. Services include resume reviews and development, cover letter writing, interview preparation, job/career search assistance, internship assistance, career fair preparation, personality and career assessments, professional headshot booth (current students only), and access to professional attire (current students only). The office provides career exploration seminars, workshops, job fairs, symposia, and classroom presentations, and assists currently enrolled students in finding part-time and summer employment at off-campus locations. Career resources and information regarding careers, internships, the job search process, company literature, as well as graduate schools and fellowship programs are available in person and online through Handshake.
