Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro History

Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro was established in the year 1910. It is a public university which is situated in Seropedica in Rio de Janeiro. It was set up as College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine but later became Rural University of Brazil and then received its current name.

Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro is organised into eleven academic faculties and a technical college. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in various disciplines of study. Students can also opt for research studies, diploma program, student exchange program and e-learning.
