Federal University of Alagoas History

Federal University of Alagoas was established in the year 1961. It is a public university which is situated in Alagoas in Brazil. It was formed after the amalgamation of six academic faculties. Its history lies in the law schools which were formed in 1933. Slowly and gradually, its other branches were opened in other parts of the Alagoas.

Federal University of Alagoas is composed of 23 academic units consisting of academic faculties, institutes and schools divided into its different campuses.
