Federal University of Sao Carlos History

The Federal University of Sao Carlos also known as Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos or UFSCar is a Brazilian public research university located in the city of Sao Carlos in state of Sao Paulo. The university was established via a presidential decree in the year 1968 and currently enrolls over 15,000 students.

The Federal University of Sao Carlos comprises of more than 321 laboratories, 129 classrooms and lecture theatres in addition to libraries, theatres, 3 amphitheaters, health centre, and gym, sports park, 8 multipurpose courts, 3 auditoriums, 5 snack bars, 2 swimming pools, and restaurants.
