Florida Atlantic University History
Florida Atlantic University was established in the year 1961 and it’s located in Boca Raton, Florida. With its foundation, the University only offered upper division and graduate level courses. As the popularity of the University grew, the University had major enrollments that led to the University to offer lower division bachelor programs as well.
Florida Atlantic University Programs, Courses, and Schools
The University offers Bachelors, Masters and doctoral courses across various colleges namely Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing, College for Design and Social Inquiry, College of Business, College of Education, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, and the Graduate College.
Florida Atlantic University Campuses
The University campuses are located in counties of Palm Beach, Broward, and St. Lucie. In the Palm Beach county are located the Boca Raton and Jupiter–John D. MacArthur Campuses. Broward County campuses include Dania Beach–SeaTech, Davie and Fort Lauderdale and lastly, St. Lucie County has the Fort Pierce–Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution.

As per the Washington Monthly, the Florida Atlantic University was given a rank of 249 within the country.
Florida Atlantic University has a very high research activity and following this the University has made international collaborations with other institutions.
