Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Frontier Nursing University

Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any field to apply to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. 

For Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) programs, the applicant must already have a master’s degree or higher in an advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) specialty. 

RN Licensure / Experience

You must be a registered nurse (RN). The programs (MSN, etc.) are designed for RNs.

For the ADN to MSN Bridge Entry Option, applicant must have an associate degree in nursing (ADN), be practicing as an RN for at least one year, and complete the bridge coursework to prepare for MSN. 

GPA Requirements

A minimum cumulative GPA is needed. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page says: have a GPA of 3.0 or higher from the most recent degree (for many programs). But there is also a possibility of being considered with slightly lower GPAs (2.80–2.99) with additional materials (statement of experience, etc.) in some cases.
