GITAM University Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 1980. It is a deemed university which is situated in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh with other two campuses in Banglore and Hyderabad. Earlier it was named as GITAM College of Engineering and then GITAM University.

GITAM University Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management comprises of nine academic faculties offering courses in over 100 programs. It also offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs. Students can also apply for research, diploma, certificate and distance learning courses.

Faculties of the university are qualifies from the renowned universities and hold experience in guiding students. The university is mainly known for its technical related courses. It is partnered with other universities as well. It also provides with international study opportunities.
