Graz University of Technology History

The Graz University of Technology is a public university which is located in Styria, Austria. It was established in the year 1811 by Archduke John of Austria. The Graz University of Technology is one of the topmost universities in Austria.

The Graz University of Technology offers 18 bachelor’s program, 33 master programs (out of which 16 are in English), involve all technology and natural science disciplines. It also includes doctoral training in 14 English speaking doctoral schools, Teacher training courses as well as free online courses institution provides. The University has 7 faculties.  The University has more than 1,567 academic staff, 987 administrative staff including 13,000 students and approximately 2,000 students graduate every year. Science study programs offered in the framework of NAWI Graz together with the University of Graz.

Graz University of Technology Campuses

The Graz University of Technology has multiple campuses. The Campus is situated in 3 sites in the city, two in center of Graz and one in the south east city. The main campus is located in Styria, Austria. The other campus has a new building, it has Biomedical Engineering Building, Chemistry Building, Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision, Engineering Mathematics/ Geodesy Building, Study Centre for students. 

Graz University of Technology Achievements

The Graz University of Technology, In 2011, the 11th Symposium Energy Innovation - which took place from 12.-15.2.2010 at the Technical University of Graz - received the CONGRESS AWARD 2011 from the city of Graz. The course "Embedded Automotive Software, VU" the Embedded Automotive Systems Group awards the annual ECU Award for an outstanding realization or improvement of the required ECU.

The Graz University of Technology strategically combines its research into five pioneering areas: the Fields of Expertise. The researchers work across disciplines and benefit from different approaches and methods, shared resources and international exchange.
