HAS green academy operates across two locations in the south of the Netherlands: 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) and Venlo. The main campus in 's-Hertogenbosch houses approximately 3,500 students in a building with modern and innovative facilities on its own complex. The institution employs 550 people, including 13 professors and approximately fifty lecturer-researchers who collaborate with students, lecturers and professionals from the sector. The Den Bosch location has achieved energy label A and is working towards meeting the European target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55 percent by 2030 compared to 2014 through an ambitious investment plan. The Venlo location has also achieved energy label A and continues to take steps towards a fully future-proof facility

Student Support

HAS green academy provides extensive support to students regarding all practical aspects of their studies. The International Office helps students prepare for their stay, arranges accommodation for the first year in Den Bosch, and advises on all other aspects of studying in the Netherlands. Study advisors, such as Esther van Lieshout who has been part of HAS green academy for 16 years, support students during their studies and help them get the most out of their time at the academy. Senior lecturers and coaches are dedicated to student wellbeing and development, helping students grow from the inside out. The International Office also assists with questions regarding traineeships abroad in the third year, studying abroad, travel insurance and immigration procedures

Student life at HAS green academy is vibrant and social, with approximately 3,500 students studying in 's-Hertogenbosch. Students collaborate with fellow students from day one, working on current issues affecting businesses and organisations. The International Student Association strives to make all students feel at home in 's-Hertogenbosch and create a network of friends that will last a lifetime through social and educational events organized throughout the year using themes related to the food industry. Students enjoy study trips abroad, such as trips to Greece where they visit companies in the morning and enjoy beach time, drinks and hiking in the afternoons

HAS green academy provides accommodation services to help first-year international students on both Dutch and English study programmes find a room for the first year of their studies. The International Office supports international students in finding and arranging accommodation for the first year, providing both information on how to look for a room independently and mediation of furnished student rooms through the Accommodation Service.
