Yes. HKUST graduates can apply for the Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) scheme, which allows non-local students who have completed a full-time, locally accredited undergraduate or postgraduate program to stay and work in Hong Kong without a job offer initially.
The IANG scheme provides international graduates with the right to stay in Hong Kong for 12 months to seek employment. During this time, they can work full-time, switch jobs freely, and potentially apply for visa extensions or other employment-based permits.
Yes. HKUST offers an International Visiting Internship Student Program, allowing students from outside Hong Kong to engage in short-term research projects (2–6 months). However, this is not a post-study work visa and does not offer long-term stay rights after graduation.
