Huazhong Agricultural University History

Huazhong Agricultural University also known as HAU and HZAU is a Chinese university located in Wuhan, Hebei Province. The university was established as Huazhong Agricultural College in 1940. In 1952 a massive restructuring took place which merged Agricultural Colleges of Wuhan University, Henan University, Nanchang University, Guangxi University, and Zhongshan University with the college. The university adopted its present name in 1985.
