Huazhong University of Science and Technology is a public and national university located in Wuchang, China. It was established in the year 1953 only the Engineering School was introduced and in the 1907 Medical School was introduced.

HUST is a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research university, covering 12 major disciplines: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and arts, offering a variety of degree programs, including ninety-four undergraduate programs, 225 master programs, and 184 Ph.D. programs. There are 39 post-doctoral research centers, 7 national key first-level disciplines, and 15 national key sub-disciplines. The University has more than 3,448 academic staff including 36,000 undergraduate students and 20,040 postgraduate students.
