International applicants must hold a valid secondary school diploma that gives access to higher education in their home country. This diploma must be equivalent to the Belgian CESS or have an approved equivalence certificate for university level study in Belgium.
If your secondary diploma isn’t automatically recognized, you’ll need to obtain official diploma equivalence from the Belgian Ministry or educational authority before enrolling typically required for non EU diplomas.
ICHEC follows the Belgian higher education system, where admission to bachelor’s programs is generally open as long as you have a valid upper secondary diploma that qualifies you for higher education in your home country. There are no additional competitive entrance exams for bachelor’s admission.
Most undergraduate courses are conducted in French, so international students should demonstrate French proficiency (though specific test scores are recommended rather than always required). Some courses also include English components.
