Inner Mongolia University History

Inner Mongolia University is a Mongolian higher education establishment located in the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It was established in year 1957 under the aegis of Inner Mongolia Regional Government and has grown to enroll over 23000 students.

Inner Mongolia University offers taught programs in Mongolian Studies, Humanities, Foreign Languages, Economics, Management, Law, Science and Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Arts, Physical Teaching, and Public Policy at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Inner Mongolia University is based across three campuses in the city of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, Mongolia. The university is also undertaking a rapid expansion project by establishing another campus in the city with state of the art facilities and infrastructure.

Inner Mongolia University also has an artificial lake on campus called the Rengong Hu which is used as a skating rink in winters after it gets frozen. The campus is also home to a number of modern buildings which house halls of residence, library, classrooms, laboratories, and other amenities.
