INSEAD France History

INSEAD France is a private business school which is located in Europe (Fontainebleau, France). It was established in the year 1957. The name "INSEAD" originated as associate degree descriptor of InstitutEuropéend'Administration des Affaires (French for "European Institute of Business Administration").

INSEAD France Campuses

INSEAD France, the original Europe campus is located in Fontainebleau, near Paris, France. INSEAD's second campus (Asia campus) is in the Buona Vista district of the city-state of Singapore. The third and newest campus (Middle East campus) is found in the national capital. Although situated in Europe and Asia, INSEAD pursues the US model of a business school. INSEAD has been a pioneer in putting in a multi-campus business school as some way to extend the worldwide presence and nature of its school and curriculum.

INSEAD has the second highest number of Master in Business Administration alumni holding Chief Executive office positions in 2015 in the Financial Times Global 500, that consists of the world's largest firms by market capitalization. In 2015, PitchBook Data ranked INSEAD first outside the U.S.A. and fifth globally for the number of MBA alumni receiving capital funding, with over $6.1B raised. INSEAD has fifteen research centres conducting research in several business and geographical areas.
