Alison Montagrin is a Maître-Assistante (Research and Teaching Fellow) in Basic Neurosciences at the University of Geneva. She also investigated how mental images of the past and future affect memory and decision-making, developing the frequently disregarded temporal component of episodic memory. Her current work, which combines virtual reality and 7T or 3T MRI, investigates how the hippocampus encodes the temporal and spatial dimensions of goal-relevant memories. Specifically, it looks at how memories of the distant past and future are represented along the anterior-posterior axis of the hippocampus. View Less
