Student Support

IPAM seeks to promote student participation in academic life through activities outside the classroom, in student clubs and associations, competitions, and awards, to provide a better experience for the students through support and understanding. Its main objective is to support the students throughout their academic careers, ensuring their well-being from their integration through to the conclusion of their studies. The student will have a tutor to support them throughout their learning experience with them, accompanying them throughout their journey. In addition to the virtual classes, the professor will be at their disposal to clarify any questions the students may have through personalised mentoring. IPAM also has a Student Ombudsperson to receive, manage and reply to complaints from students and make recommendations to the competent bodies.

Extracurricular activities—such as broadcasting conferences and lectures with international personalities, organizing conferences with individuals of recognized merit, and defining an intense cultural agenda—hold a prominent place in the academic life at IPAM. The mission of the Employability Office of the IPAM is to connect students with employers, develop their skills and support them in their career plan, in order to ensure that they are prepared to find their place in the national or international labour market. The Office carries out activities/events in order to promote and optimise the development of student skills, and to explore and learn about professional prospects: Help in raising awareness of the importance of extracurricular activities for the development of skills, valued by the labour market; Disclosure of Internship and Employment offers; Support in the search for Internship and Employment; Support with the preparation of CV/portfolio; contact with companies; support with interview preparation; Preparation of documentation for internships, whether curricular, extracurricular or professional; Workshops and Job Fairs. The IPAM provides its students and alumni with a Portal where it is possible to: Access national and international job and internship offers; Upload your CV and create your profile so that companies can view and contact you directly; Schedule virtual sessions with the Employability office; Enrol in workshops and other activities; Find support manuals prepared by the Employability Office for the various stages of the academic career and entry into the labour market.
