Johannes Kepler University Linz is a public institution of higher education in Austria, located in Linz. The University was established in the year 1966 as “College of Social Sciences” and “Economics and Business”.

Johannes Kepler University, the study program at the JKU has more than 65 fields of study is modern and is constantly updated and earned. The University offers 22 Bachelor’s programs, 2 Diploma, 36 Master’s programs, and 7 Doctoral programs are offered in JKU. The University has 4 faculties with total of 110 institutes including Interdisciplinary programs and distance learning programs is taught by JKU.

The JKU campus is simply practical for many reasons: you do not run "empty" kilometers, because all the major buildings are close to each other on the campus. JKU's campus is located in the northeast of Linz, in the Auhof area of the St. Magdalena district. The JKU is also located close to Austria's autobahn network at the Dornach exit on the A7 Mühlkreisautobahn (ca. 1 km or 0.6 miles).

Johannes Kepler University was honored best Paper Awards" for the year 2018 was awarded at the "Kurt Rothschild Lecture". The voestalpine AG and the Johannes Kepler University Linz received the special “VERENA” Award at the 2018 State Innovation Awards. The philosopher Award is presented to foremost researchers in recognition of their outstanding expertise and internationally recognized work. The award is endowed with €1.5 million and gives researchers the freedom and flexibility they need to continue carrying out their research.

Johannes Kepler University, In 2012, the Times Higher Education ranked the JKU at 41 and in 2015 at 87 in its list of the top 100 universities under 50 years old. According to the 2012 ranking, the JKU was the fifth best young university in communicatory Europe.
