The below information is required while
completing the university application :

Applicants must submit the Common Application + Cornell Writing Supplement. 

High school transcripts with completed coursework in core subjects: English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language. 

Cornell stipulates 16 units (courses) in high school, typically including at least 4 in English, 4 in Mathematics (pre-calculus required) and 3 in Science (biology & chemistry required; physics strongly recommended). 

Standardized test scores (SAT / ACT) are required for first-year applicants (for fall 2026 and beyond) per Cornell policy. 

Counselor Recommendation and School Report are required parts of the application. 

Application fee ($85) or fee waiver option is required.
