Kettering University History

 Kettering University’s history started in the year 1919 as The School of Automotive Trades. The University was founded y Albert Sobey. The University shares a long legacy with the automotive industry. In the year 1923, the University became famous by the name Flint Institute of Technology. In 1932, it was again renamed as the General Motors Institute of Technology. It got its current name in 1998.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

All freshman international students are automatically considered upon admission for this annual scholarship and can be eligible for this scholarship based on SAT or ACT scores.

No separate application is necessary.

This scholarship cannot be collaborated with the World Scholarship but can be combined with other freshmen or Upper-Class scholarships.

Application Procedure:

The university strongly encourages all students to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for any need-based aid for which they qualify beyond any scholarships awarded.
