The university’s general infrastructure is anchored by its 7-hectare campus in central Krakow, comprising 15 interconnected buildings that blend modern architecture with historic structures from the 19th century. All buildings are linked to a central authentication system and feature fully digitalized lecture halls equipped with advanced audiovisual technology. A comprehensive monitoring system and the constant presence of private security guards ensure the safety of students and staff across the campus. The surrounding area provides excellent access to public transit, with a bus and tram stop named “Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny” located right by the campus, offering services of city buses and trams, which connect the university to the main railway station and the rest of the city.
Student life at KUE is vibrant and rich with extracurricular opportunities. The university proudly supports over 40 Scientific Clubs, 10 Student Organizations, and 22 Sports Sections, which allow students to pursue their interests in areas ranging from economics to technology and arts. The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is active on campus, organizing a Mentor Programme where a KUE student provides an exchange student with assistance and help throughout their stay. Traditional events, academic ceremonies, and cultural festivities are regularly held, further enriched by the university's central location just minutes from Krakow’s historic Main Square, which offers a vast array of cafes, restaurants, and cultural attractions.


The Student Career Centre (ACK) serves as a strategic bridge between students and the business world, aiming to enable students to gain professional experience and support graduates in starting their careers. ACK organizes two major Job Fairs annually, attracting thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors, and it operates the JobTeaser database, offering access to over 500 companies and more than 1,100 active job, internship, and apprenticeship offers. Students and graduates benefit from hundreds of individual CV consultations and development workshops. The centre also facilitates the Erasmus+ Internship program, enabling international work placements abroad, and works to build employer brands within the academic community.
The below information is required while
completing the university application :
1. Candidates must possess a valid secondary school leaving certificate (e.g., Matura, IB Diploma, High School Diploma) which entitles them to undertake university studies in their home country.
2. The admission process involves a qualification procedure based on the results of the secondary school exam, considering grades in two subjects: a first subject and a second subject chosen from a list of specific subjects depending on the chosen field of study.
3. A candidate may apply for a maximum of three study programs (one primary and two additional), ordering them according to individual priority.
4. International candidates must provide proof of English language proficiency at level B2 or higher (e.g., TOEFL minimum 79 points or IELTS minimum 6.0).
The university holds recruitment for over 30 fields of study enriched with numerous specializations. For international candidates seeking to study in English, the recruitment process is managed by the International Programs Office, requiring a secondary school leaving certificate (e.g., Matura, IB, or high school diploma) and proof of English proficiency at a B2 level or higher (e.g., TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.0). The admission process involves a qualification procedure based on secondary school exam results, and candidates can typically apply for a maximum of three programs, ordering them by priority.





In 2026, the university’s Marketing and Market Communication Programme was awarded the “Certyfikat Doskonałości Kształcenia” (Certificate of Excellence in Education) by the Polish Accreditation Committee (PKA), based on positive evaluation and good teaching practices. 2
