The 2024–25 athletic season proved historic for LTU. Highlighted achievements include men's volleyball’s program-best 27 wins and an undefeated WHAC record, alongside exceptional GPA performance with student-athletes collectively posting a 3.31 GPA.

LTU's Autonomous Campus Transport (ACTor) team, a seven-time defending champion, won the 2024 RoboNation Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC) in the Self-Drive category. The victory was celebrated with a championship banner and a $3,000 award.
Filed in 2013 and granted in 2016, this patent—credited to Nabil Grace—covers a prestressed concrete bridge design that integrates ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) with CFRP reinforcement. The innovation enables faster, more durable bridge construction with improved structural performance.
