We offer the same BBA program between the two campuses, so the main difference is location. Within the BBA program, the Marbella campus offers a specialization in Resort Development and Management that distinguishes it from the Swiss campus, due in part to Marbella’s own position as a leading international luxury resort destination, whereas Switzerland exclusively offers a specialization in Hotel Financial Performance Management.
Yes, the International Baccalaureate (IB) is accepted by all Les Roches campuses. A full IB Diploma replaces the need to provide another English language certificate for entry into the Bachelor program.
All programs are delivered in English. Accepted qualifications include TOEFL iBT Overall 80, Cambridge First Grade A with min 180 points or Advanced Grade C with min 180 points, and IELTS Academic Overall 6 with Speaking, Reading, Listening, and Writing minimum 5.5. The Les Roches Marbella testing code number for IELTS is B941.
The campus is located at Urb. Lomas de Río Verde - Ctra. de Istán km1, 29602 Marbella, Malaga, Spain. It is perfectly placed between the city center, the marina, and the luxury shopping district of Puerto Banús, putting students at the heart of the premium resort experience.
Thanks to new immigration regulations in Spain, students who have completed their studies can switch their student visa to a work permit after only one year of residence (previously three years were required). Students who have obtained a university degree (level 6), master's, or doctorate can stay in Spain for up to 24 months to search for employment.
In accordance with Spanish regulations, international students with stay permits for study may be permitted to work, whether as an employee or as self-employed. International students must request the change to a residence and work permit while their student stay permit is still valid.
