Every day of the year, the University Security Centre is very responsibly handling the security of the university. All of the university's CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems are watched over by the Security Centre. A security supervisor oversees each of the four teams of security personnel that provide round-the-clock coverage of the entire campus. Every member of the security team has undergone rigorous training, and there are always certified fire marshals and first responders on hand. IT, access control, CCTV, public queries, lost and recovered goods, security advice, parking permits, and ID cards are all covered under security administration.
