Career Support

In order to become a chartered architect in the UK, you must complete hands-on training and receive credentials approved by The Architects Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Information on training, including qualification pathways, is available on the RIBA website. Typically, the most popular path takes at least seven years. Most architecture graduates choose to work as architects or in other degree-related industries, which have their own training and admission criteria, because of the duration of training required.
