Mansoura University History

Mansoura University is a public university located in Mansoura, Egypt. It was established in the year 1972 by a presidential decree the establishment of the university as the name of “East Delta University”. The name was changed to Mansoura University in 1973.

Mansoura University, offers medical education programs, dental programs, master’s programs, doctorate programs. The University has 18 faculty in a different department. It also has 2,500 academic staff including 3000 undergraduate students and 2,500 postgraduate students.

Mansoura University, the main campus is located in Mansoura. The University has multiple facilities like research center, laboratories, library center, e-learning center. The campus has hospitals like Urology and Nephrology Center, Specialized Medical Hospital, Emergency Hospital, Oncology Center, Medical ExperimentalResearch Center, and many hospitals are there on campus.

Mansoura University Achievements

Mansoura University, SobhyAbd El-Kader, the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, students of Engineering at Mansoura University won the award of the Global Hybrid Electric Challenge in Egypt. Seven Egyptian public and private universities have participated in this competition. The University won three of the State Science Awards for 2017. Professor Mohammed Abdel- Qader Ali Sobh was awarded the advanced technologies science. Dr. El-Husseini Ahmed Ahmed Ali Abu El-Naga - lecturer at the Food Industries Department at the Faculty of Agriculture was awarded the best research for young researchers. Dr. Hamada ShaabanAbul-FotouhHassanein - lecturer at the English Department at the Faculty of Education was awarded the best research award for humanities.
