Mckendree University is a private university that is based in Lebanon, Illinois. It is one of the oldest colleges in Illinois as it was established in the year 1828. The institution was established by some greatly known methodists back then. The university when it started initially opened up with a school that had only 72 students. In July 2007, it came to be known as Mckendree University. The university over the years has expanded its horizons and added more courses and programs and today it has a good name in Illinois.
