completing the university application :
1. Academic Requirements:
Secondary School Completion: Applicants must have successfully completed a secondary school education that would qualify them for admission to a university in their home country.
Program-Specific Prerequisites: Each undergraduate program has specific subject prerequisites. For example:
Engineering Programs: Require senior-level courses in Mathematics (including Calculus), Chemistry, and Physics.
Health Sciences: Require senior-level courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Business Programs: Require senior-level Mathematics and English courses.
Competitive Averages: Admission is competitive, and the required minimum average varies by program. Generally, a minimum overall average equivalent to 80% or higher is expected, with some programs requiring averages in the high 80s to low 90s.
2. English Language Proficiency:
If English is not the applicant's first language, they must provide evidence of English language proficiency through one of the following standardized tests:
IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5, with at least 6.0 in each component (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening).
TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 86, with at least 20 in each of the four components.
CAEL: Overall score of 70, with no component score below 60.
PTE Academic: Overall score of 60, with minimum 60 in both Writing and Speaking.
Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 115.
