Medical College of Wisconsin history started in the year 1893 in the eastern part of Wisconsin. Marquette University merged with Milwaukee Medical College and after years it turned into the Medical College of Wisconsin in the year 1970. Kurtis Froedtert played a vital role in the establishment of the college. It is known as the largest research center in the region.
