1. Academic Requirements:

Must have completed secondary education equivalent to the Austrian Matura (high school diploma).

A valid university entrance qualification (e.g., school-leaving certificate) recognized by Austria.

If the secondary school diploma is not from an EU/EEA country, students may need to prove eligibility to study medicine in their home country.

2. Language Proficiency:

Since the program is taught in German, applicants must provide proof of German proficiency at C1 level (CEFR).

Accepted certificates: ÖSD, TestDaF, Goethe-Zertifikat C1, or DSH-2.

3. Additional Course Requirements:

Depending on the applicant's previous education, a supplementary exam (Ergänzungsprüfung) may be required in subjects like biology, chemistry, or physics.

Some students may need to complete a preparatory course (Vorstudienlehrgang) before full admission.

4. Application Process:

Submit an online application through the university portal within the official deadlines.

Provide all required documents translated into German and officially certified.

Pass the MedAT (Medical Admission Test), a mandatory entrance exam assessing scientific knowledge, cognitive skills, and social-emotional competencies.

If selected, complete the enrollment process and provide proof of valid health insurance for studying in Austria.
