Bachelor’s Admission Requirements – Medical University of Vienna (MedUni Wien)

1. General Admission Requirements:

Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Reifezeugnis or equivalent)

Must qualify you for university studies in your home country.

German Language Proficiency:

Minimum C1 level (CEFR) required for German-taught programs.

Proof via:

At least 4 years of German lessons in school, or

A recognized German language diploma.

2. Specific Program Requirements:

Medicine & Dentistry Degree Programs:

MedAT Admission Test is mandatory.

Admission occurs only for the winter semester.

In-person application required at the Studies & Examinations Department.

Registration deadline for first semester: September 5th.

Postgraduate Programs: (For applicants with a prior degree)

Requires a completed Bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS).

Accepted disciplines include Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biology, Health Sciences, Communication, Law, and others.
