Merrimack College was established in 1947. It is a private college located in North Andover, Massachusetts.
The College offers more than 90 undergraduate programs in liberal arts, science and engineering, business, and education, and 18 graduate programs in business, criminology, education, engineering, health sciences, and public affairs, as well as part-time degree completion and certificate programs. The graduate programs are provided through four schools and they are Girard School of Business, School of Education and Social Policy, School of Science and Engineering and School of Liberal Arts. The acceptance rate in the university is 79%. A special point of pride is ABET-accredited engineering programs, unusual in a small college.
Merrimack College has partnered with Study Group which offers Pre-Master's Program. Pre-Master's Program provides a unique combination of English language, academic modules and study skills training. Once a student successfully completes the Pre-Master’s Program, the student will go on to study the related master’s degree at Merrimack.
