The Metropolitan State University of Denver was found in the year 1965 as a public university. The 127-acre campus, located in Denver, Colorado offers the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful places in the United States. MSU Denver envisions providing accessible and enriching education to help students prepare for a successful career.

MSU Denver offers a wide range of degree and masters programs in liberal arts and sciences, business, teacher education, criminal justice, aviation and more. Students can choose from nearly 86 bachelor degrees; 70+ minor programs, 30+ certificate programs; and 5 master degrees in professional accounting, social work, business administration, health administration, and teacher education.

The university registered an overall student count of over 21000 students out of which 19000 students are enrolled for bachelor programs, and the rest of students for graduate and certificate programs. MSU has a student-faculty ratio of 18:1, with over 562 full-time faculties teaching at the campus. Over 8000 international students add diversity to the campus.  

There are various student organizations and athletic clubs for students to be a part of. Rowdy the Roadrunner is the official mascot of the university. MSU Denver’s men’s basketball team won the Division II National Championship in 2000 and 2002, and woman’s soccer team won the Division II National Championship in 2004 and 2006 respectively. The university is partnered with 732 businesses and organizations to provide internships for MSU Denver students.
