Mines Paris Tech History

Mines Paris Tech is a public university located in Paris, France. It was established in the year 1783 by King Louis XVI, are a French Engineer School and a constituent college of University PSL. It is one of the most well-known largest engineering university in Paris.

Mines ParisTech, the main campus is situated in Paris. The University has 4 campuses. The first campus is located in Paris. The second campus in Fontainebleau. The third campus is located in Evry. The fourth campus in Sophia Antipolis. The campus has numerous facilities on campus like the library, research centers, laboratories center, sports center and many facilities are there. 

Mines Paris Tech Achievements

Mines ParisTech, Maurice Allais won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1988 and entered the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences in 1990.ModesarShakoor, Doctor MINES ParisTechwas selected for the thesis prize of the European ECCOMAS Association, also awarded the CSMA thesis Award in 2016. ChahrazadeBahbah, Ph.D. student of 1st yearCemef MINES ParisTech receives one of the three best poster prizes and was honored by Patrick Le Tallec, organizer of CSMA 2017 symposium in Giens. Henry Proudhon Researcher at the MINES ParisTech Materials Center receives the Young International Leader Scholar Award, awarded by the Federation of European Materials Societies.

Mines Paris Tech USP

Mines Paris Tech ranked 251-300th by World University Rankings in 2017. The University also ranked 401-500th by Shanghai University Rankings in 2019. It also ranked 20-21nd in National University Rankings for Best Engineering College in Paris. It ranked No.1 of French Engineering Schools for the quality of its engineering research by New Factory in 2016. Mines ParisTech has always been an emphasis on its motto of “Theory and Practice”.
