Molloy College

Molloy College is a private college situated in Long Island, Rockville Centre, New York. The college was founded in the year 1955 and the founders of college were the Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Cross Amityville. It initially began as a Catholic Women's college that welcomed 44 women on the first day of the class. The college earlier was named Molloy Catholic College and then later in the year 1971 it changed its name to Molloy College. In the year 1982, it finally became a co-educational college that now invited male candidates for admissions. Recently, in 2022, the college got approved by the New York State Board of Regents to change its name to Molloy University. Molloy College is known for its exceptional service to the community. There are around 4000 students currently pursuing various courses in the college.

Molloy College Housing/ Accommodation Services

On-Campus: Molloy College Housing/ Accommodation Services offers three residential halls with all the facilities and basic amenities available at the halls. The three residential halls are: 

  • Fitzgerald hall
  • Maria Regina hall
  • Bogner hall

Fitzgerald Hall: This hall can accommodate up to 150 students and has double, single, and triple rooms, single suites, double suites, and common suites available for the students. There is a fitness center, laundry facilities, study lounge, and many other facilities available for a comfortable stay.

Maria Regina Hall: This hall can accommodate around 100 students and has single, super single, double, and triple rooms and a single suite, double suite, and suite common room. 

Bogner Hall: This hall accommodates around 90 students and has only single and double rooms.

Molloy College Medical Services are provided through the Danielle Giovanniello, R.N, Student Health Services. They provide services for minor health problems.
