High school diploma (bachillerato) or equivalent, officially legalized.
Official high school transcripts showing completed coursework and grades.
National university entrance exam (Prueba de Aptitud Académica - PAA) results (or equivalent standardized test accepted by PUCMM).
Copy of birth certificate (official and legalized).
Copy of national ID card (cédula) or passport if international applicant.
Two recent passport-sized photographs.

By December 2024, the university secured top national positions in Times Higher Education (THE), QS, Uniranks, and Webometrics rankings. It also became the first Dominican university simultaneously certified in ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 21001 (Educational Organizations).
In July 2023, PUCMM received the prestigious PROINDUSTRIA Award for Excellence in Science and Technology, recognized for pioneering academic-industry innovative projects.
In November 2022, PUCMM launched and graduated the Dominican Republic’s first Women in STEM Entrepreneurship (WISE RD) cohort, empowering 24 female innovators. Two projects earned seed funding, including a solar-panel initiative for schools.
Also revealed at eMerge Americas 2025, the team led by Prof. Batista presented a flight delay prediction application using artificial intelligence. It trains on historical and real-time flight data to forecast delays—an asset for travelers, airlines, and airport authorities

Funded by the Fondocyt 2023 initiative, researchers at PUCMM’s Dr. Salomón Jorge Molecular Biology Center launched a study examining the combined anti-adipogenic effects of 6-gingerol (from ginger) and curcumin (from turmeric) on mouse 3T3-L1 fat cell lines.
