Nanjing Medical University, originally established in 1934 as the National Jiangsu Medical College in Zhenjiang, has a long and distinguished history. In 1957, it relocated to Nanjing and was renamed Nanjing Medical College. By 1962, it became one of the first universities in China to launch a six-year medical education program.

The admission process includes online application, document submission (like transcripts, certificates, English proficiency), an initial review, followed by an acceptance letter, non-refundable deposit payment, visa application, and finally registration at the university.
Applicants must submit: Academic transcripts and diplomas Certificate of non-criminal record Proof of English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo) A personal statement Application and admission fees
After acceptance, students pay a non-refundable deposit (about $2000 or CNY13,000). Then, the university sends a JW202 form for visa application. Once the visa is granted, students must register at the School of International Education and pay the remaining tuition and arrange accommodation.
