Admission requirements for the Master’s programs at Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST)
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification and be under the age of 35. Prospective graduates may apply with an official pre-graduation certificate.
Language Proficiency: For English-taught programs, a minimum IELTS score of 5.5, TOEFL score of 80, or Duolingo score of 100 is required. For Chinese-taught programs, an HSK Level 4 certificate is necessary.
Health Requirements: Applicants must be in good physical and mental health, as per the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The medical examination results are valid for six months.
Recommendation Letters: Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors are required. These letters should be in English or Chinese and include the contact details of the referees.
Study Plan or Research Proposal: A personal statement or research plan of at least 800 words is necessary. This document should detail the applicant's academic background, research interests, and career goals.
Application Documents: Applicants must submit a valid passport, academic transcripts, degree certificates, language proficiency certificates, a physical examination form, and a certificate of no criminal record. Documents not in Chinese or English must be notarized translations.
