Housing facilities (Accommodation)

INSA Lyon offers a modern, well-equipped housing system spread across 11 residence halls on its LyonTech‑La Doua campus, accommodating around 3,200 students. First-year students live in shared double rooms in halls A and B, with basics like bed, desk, wardrobe, kitchenette and shower, plus shared toilets per floor. Upper-year students move into traditional residences (C to J, Magellan) offering studios or shared flats for 2–3 people, all furnished and including kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Internet access is available across residences via university network providers. Laundry rooms on each site are accessible via app or tokens. Rents include utilities, and students receive housing assistance, making living affordable. Security deposit, simple application fees and mandatory rental insurance apply, but overall on‑campus life combines comfort, convenience, and community.
