National Technological University History

National Technological University, is a public national university that is located in Argentina and regarded to be among the highest engineering colleges within the country. The National Technological University (UTN) was founded in 1959 to create, preserve and transmit universal and technical knowledge in the field of technology, being the only national university in the country with engineering in the central focus of its academic structure.

National Technological University Programs, Courses, and Schools

National Technological University offers 15 Engineering programs, 2 postgraduate degrees, 10 doctoral programs, 21 master’s programs, 28 specializations, 53 update courses, 55 University techniques and 21 curricular complement cycles. The university has, more than 1800 teacher-researchers carry out their tasks, together with students, together with postgraduate and graduate students.

National Technological University Campuses

National Technological University, has various branches. The main branch is based in UTN Buenos, Aires. The second one is UTN based in Tucuman, the third one is UTN based in Haedo and the other one is UTN which is based in Delta.

The Network of Libraries of the National Technological University constitutes an inter-institutional space that offers resources for teaching, learning, research, and Management. Collective Catalog, in which the bibliographic records of the databases of each of the member libraries are gathered in a centralized way. Creation of a digital library, in accordance with the law that establishes that the institutions of the National System of Science and Technology and that receive funding from the State, must create institutional Digital Repositories of free and open access in which the scientific-technological production will be deposited.

National Technological University, The National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU) is the decentralized agency that operates within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, whose institutional mission is to ensure and improve the quality of careers and university institutions through assessment activities. Universities and accreditation of degree programs regulated by the State and postgraduate careers. The research at UTN aims to develop innovative solutions for the most challenging technological challenges posed by our society. This is how the Science and Technology Development is carried out in more than 33 Centers and 66 Research and Development Groups. In these executing units, more than 1800 teacher-researchers carry out their tasks, together with students, together with postgraduate and graduate students. The projects are organized thematically into 14 programs of priority research and development.
