Admission Requirements for a Master's Program at the National University of Lugano (Università della Svizzera italiana - USI)
1. General Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree:
You must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a state-recognized university.
The degree should be equivalent to at least 180 ECTS credits (or an equivalent qualification).
It must be in a related subject area to the Master's program you are applying for.
Conditional Admission:
If you are still completing your Bachelor's degree, you can apply for conditional admission, provided that you complete your degree before the start of the Master’s program.
2. Language Proficiency:
You may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction for your chosen Master’s program (which could be Italian, German, French, or English).
If required, you must provide proof of language proficiency (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or other recognized certificates).

Official Transcripts:
Must be provided for all previous university studies.
Copy of Diplomas:
You must submit copies of all relevant diplomas (e.g., Bachelor's, licentiate, four-year degree, maturity certificate).

If your diplomas and transcripts are not in Italian, German, French, English, or Spanish, you will need to provide certified translations.
