Naval Postgraduate School History 

Naval Postgraduate School came into existence in the year 1909. In four months of establishing this school, a school of Marine Engineering at Annapolis was opened. In 1912, the school was named the Postgraduate Department of the United States Naval Academy. In 1945, the Naval Postgraduate School was given full accreditation. Then in 1951, the institution moved to Monterey. In today's time, the school is offering more than 40 academic programs. Naval Postgraduate School is one of the renowned institutions in the region.

Medical Services

Naval Postgraduate School Medical Services are provided through the Naval Medical Admin Unit. This unit serves both the Navy and Marine officers and services members. The services are as follows:

  • Periodic Health Assessment

Application Requirements

All international students applying to the institute must be contacted and referred by their respective governments. There is no formal application form. Requests for evaluation of academic records for admission into a specified curriculum should be made through appropriate channels in your Ministry of Defense.
