Students must provide the following documents for their student permit: completed application form, receipt of payment for the non-refundable application fee (US$100.00), passport-size photographs, scanned passport page, health certificate from a recognized health authority obtained within six months prior to application, proof of valid health insurance coverage, proof of sufficient funds (at least $2,000 USD per month for a minimum of 6 months total - $12,000 USD), criminal background check from the home country, two letters of recommendation from non-family members, and an official letter of acceptance from the university. Upon approval, a non-refundable fee of US$500.00 is required before issuance of the Student Permit. The granted period of the Student Permit does not exceed 3 years.
