Academic Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree: A four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution is required.

GPA: A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in your undergraduate coursework is expected.

English Language Proficiency:

If English is not your native language, you must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following standardized tests:

TOEFL iBT: Minimum total score of 80, with at least 18 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).

IELTS Academic: Overall band score of at least 6.5, with minimum scores of 6.5 in each section.

Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 110.

Note: English proficiency test scores must be no older than two years prior to the beginning of the requested entry term.

Application Components:

Online Application: Complete and submit the official NC State Graduate School application.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of $95 is required for international applicants.

Transcripts: Provide unofficial copies of transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. Official transcripts will be required upon admission.

Letters of Recommendation: Typically, three letters are required, preferably from academic or professional references familiar with your qualifications.

Statement of Purpose: A personal statement outlining your academic background, research interests, and reasons for pursuing graduate study at NC State.

Standardized Test Scores: Some programs may require GRE or GMAT scores. Check the specific requirements of your intended program.

Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV): An updated document detailing your academic and professional experiences.

Additional Requirements:

Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR): International applicants must submit a CFR to certify adequate financial resources for the intended period of enrollment.

Visa Clearance Form: Applicants already in the U.S. must complete this form to verify their current visa status.
