To complete the admission process for a bachelor's program at North South University (NSU), applicants are required to submit the following documents:

Admit card.

All original certificates and mark sheets/transcripts (originals will be returned after verification).

One full set of photocopies of all certificates and transcripts.

HSC registration card or a copy of the National ID or passport.

One passport-size photograph.

Copy of National ID.

  • Nagad : In October 2022, NSU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nagad, Bangladesh's mobile financial service provider. Notably, many executives at Nagad are NSU alumni, reinforcing the strong ties between the institution and the company.   • ASPEN Capital : In October 2024, NSU partnered with ASPEN Capital to enhance financial literacy and empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh. Through this collaboration, NSU students gain access to financial literacy training and the PROFITIZE accounting tool, which aids SMEs in recording transactions and generating financial statements. Students also volunteer to guide SME owners in utilizing the tool, thereby contributing to the economic empowerment of SMEs and gaining practical experience in the process
  • MetLife Bangladesh : In November 2022, NSU and MetLife Bangladesh signed an MoU to facilitate research collaboration and internship opportunities for NSU students. This partnership allows students to engage in joint research projects with MetLife, particularly in areas related to the insurance sector. The collaboration aims to enhance the understanding of the insurance industry in Bangladesh and provide students with practical insights and experiences in the field. ​
  • Crony Group : In June 2023, NSU partnered with Crony Group, a leading composite textile manufacturer, to create global employment opportunities for NSU graduates. In August 2023, NSU's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering collaborated with the Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) to develop biosensors aimed at detecting microbes in wastewater. Spearheaded by Dr. Fariah Mahzabeen, an engineer-scientist with a Ph.D. from Stanford, the project focused on creating low-cost, efficient biosensors to monitor water quality and prevent disease outbreaks. NIR-Light-Triggered Doxorubicin-Loaded PLGA Nanoparticles for Cancer Therapy

In 2023, Dr. Shazid Md. Sharker from NSU's Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences published a study on near-infrared (NIR) light-triggered delivery of doxorubicin-loaded PLGA nanoparticles for synergistic cancer therapy. The research demonstrated the potential of using NIR light to activate drug-loaded nanoparticles, allowing for targeted cancer treatment with reduced side effects. Fraud Detection in Financial Transactions Using Machine Learning

In 2022, NSU students Mahbuba Yesmin Turaba, Mehedi Hasan, and Nazrul Islam Khan, under the supervision of Dr. Hafiz Abdur Rahman, developed a machine learning model for detecting fraud in financial transactions. Their research achieved a remarkable 99.94% accuracy rate, outperforming previous models.
