Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Northeastern Illinois University

completing the university application :

Apply online:
Complete the online application.
Pay the Fee: Send in the necessary application money.
2. Submit High School Transcripts and Academic Records: Present official high school transcripts.
GPA: On a 4.0 scale, a cumulative high school grade-point average (GPA) of 2.5 is necessary.
3. Offer proficiency in English
You must submit the results of one of the following authorized tests to establish your English proficiency:
Internet-based (iBT) score of 71 or above on the TOEFL.
IELTS: A band score of at least 6.0 overall.
Scores from the Duolingo English Test (DET) are also acceptable.
Additional Tests: NEIU also takes the PTE Academic and the Cambridge English (C1 or C2) exams.
