    1.    Academic Qualifications:

    •    Completion of Senior Secondary Education: Applicants should have successfully completed high school or an equivalent level of education.

    •    Specific Course Prerequisites: Certain programs may require completion of specific high school courses (e.g., English 12, Mathematics 11, Biology 12) with minimum grade thresholds. For instance, the Practical Nursing program requires:

    •    English 12 or equivalent with a minimum grade of 65%.

    •    Senior Secondary Math with a minimum grade of 60%.

    •    Senior Secondary Biology with a minimum grade of 60%. 

    2.    English Language Proficiency:

    •    For Non-Native English Speakers: Proof of English proficiency is mandatory. Accepted tests and minimum scores include:

    •    IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 or higher.

    •    TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 80.

    •    PTE Academic: Minimum score of 50. 

    •    Exemptions: Applicants from countries where English is the primary language of instruction and who have completed at least three years of full-time secondary or post-secondary education in English may be exempt from language testing.

  • ’Ksan Society : In February 2025, CMTN partnered with the ’Ksan Society to combat food insecurity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This collaboration focuses on addressing food waste and enhancing local food security.
  • Ascenda School of Management : CMTN has a transfer agreement with Ascenda School of Management, allowing students to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration upon completion of their studies at CMTN.
  • British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) : Through a partnership with BCIT, CMTN students can transfer into the Bachelor of Technology in Forensics Investigation program, facilitating a seamless continuation of their education.
  • Royal Roads University : CMTN maintains multiple transfer agreements with Royal Roads University, enabling students to pursue degrees such as the Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies, Bachelor of Business Administration in Sustainability and International Business, Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management or Environmental Practice.
  • University of Victoria : Through an agreement with the University of Victoria, CMTN students can transition into Bachelor of Arts or Science programs and Bachelor of Engineering programs, facilitating continued studies in a range of academic fields.
