One of Russia's most respected and recognized multidisciplinary technical universities and scientific centers is Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University (NMSTU). With its extensive infrastructure, advanced material resources, and great intellectual potential, our university has established itself as a globally renowned research institution. It has many scientific and cultural connections with both Russian and foreign universities. One of the Russian universities with the designation of "Flagship University" is NMSTU. In 2018, there are 12,000 students overall. Approximately 800 instructors make up the faculty, with approximately 530 of them having PhDs and 98 having doctorates. Additionally, NMSTU carries out tasks as part of EU European Committee-funded TEMPUS programs. NMSTU takes part in EU initiatives aimed at modernizing courses. The university scholars frequently serve as official competitors at foreign partner universities, join International Conference Committees, and serve as scientific advisors for postgraduate students studying metallurgy and mining at foreign universities.
In addition to cafes, canteens, and resorts, the campus features well-equipped dorms, a health center that offers a wide range of health care services to all staff and students, a recreation center and sport facilities that offer opportunities for sports instruction and participation in regional and national championships at all levels, personal and group training, a variety of aquatic classes, and many more. Graduates of NMSTU have worked as professionals in engineering, science, technology, business, and human sciences for more than 80 years. Numerous businesses from across the nation and outside hire their undergraduates.
