Okanagan College is a public, post-secondary institution established in 1963. Okanagan College has since grown to be the largest college in British Columbia outside the Lower Mainland and Victoria. It operates four campuses in British Columbia at Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon, and Salmon Arm.
Okanagan College offers various programs to international students such as ESL courses/language training, vocational and trades programs and four-year degree programs in both Business and Computer Information Systems. Many students also choose the university transfer programs, which allows students a smooth transition and cost-saving entry method into many of Canada’s most prestigious universities. This program includes courses in history, literature, psychology, chemistry, biology, physics and gender studies.
Okanagan College offers a variety of career-focused programs with small class sizes including academic, vocational, trades, apprenticeship and continuing education programs and courses. Total student population at the college is more than 8,500 students (across all campuses) of which over 1,000 are international students.
