Bachelor’s Degree Admission Requirements

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent: Applicants must have completed a high school education or possess an equivalent qualification.

2. College Preparatory Coursework: Prospective students are expected to have completed a series of college-preparatory courses during high school, including:

• English: 4 years

• Mathematics: 3 years

• Science: 3 years

• Social Studies: 3 years

• Foreign Language: 2 years

Note: Applicants aged 22 and older, as well as those who have completed the GED, are exempt from these specific course requirements.  

3. Grade Point Average (GPA): A cumulative high school GPA is a significant factor in the admission decision. Merit-based scholarships awarded at the time of admission will use the cumulative high school GPA.  

4. Standardized Test Scores: Oregon Tech operates on a test-optional policy, meaning that SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission but will be considered if submitted.  

5. Application Materials: Applicants must submit a completed application form along with the required application fee. Additional materials may include official high school transcripts and, if applicable, standardized test scores.
